Hello Dipo,
you are at it again, hiting the nail right on the head.
When the Bible says a good name is better than riches it was actually talking of Integrity.It is not just public perception of the person in question but the impact and impression made on those he/she comes in contact with.This impact/impression becomes a testimonial of his name/person. If we can enshrine this value in everything we do, in due time the whole world will come looking for us no matter the competition. But it takes courage and the fear for God to build intergrity because there are times when we have to chose between cutting corners to hit it big and doing it the way it should be to satisfy and earn trust.
Every other quality-personality, money, charisma etc- may earn or attract people to us but it takes integrity (strength of character) to keep them.
