There is huge excitement in the air as the New Nigerian Club (NNC) enters its prelaunch stage today. The project in itself is a very massive one; when a group of young Nigerians are trying to do what the government of a country should be doing then one must be moved to join such associations. Then my thoughts got the better of me saying this is a Club that must work if Nigeria should walk in its dream; this is a club that must suffice if Ajegunle of Lagos shall become the Jubeira of Dubai; this is a club that must blossom if Nigeria shall become the nation to visit.

 

So many great men have made quotes concerning nationhood versus personal dispositions; Abraham Lincoln could not have said any better «Do not ask what your country shall do for you but ask what you can do for your country», Mahatma Ghandi catures it all by saying «you must be the change that you want to see in the world». I strongly believe that we should desist from mere talking to walking; we should take control of our destiny by joining in the fight to restore the nationhood of Nigeria; we should join in the cause that emancipates Nigeria from the shackles of severe poverty, outright rape and demean corrupt practices. The Harvest is now!

 

Going to the NNC and what its value propositions are. I was moved that I immediately bought into it. I realized that the sacrifices of the late night in Dubai were worth it.
