IRAQI Dinar

Average time to read4:35 minutes aprox.

3075157040_6b6ac4af3e_mObama's 100 days in office was quite instructive to me on a personal level; the freedom of the campaign trail contrasts sharply with the constraints of reality. When all have been argued, the bottom line is that there has really been no policy change from the Bush administration. However, there has been shift in global perception while everything is the same in the realm of reality. Ok, I don't write about politics but political decisions are pivotal to investment opportunities.

A New EYE

Average time to read5:45 minutes aprox.

549883494_b1efd9dd76_mThe MBA seminar got me more tired than I projected with questions flying from various quarters: I suddenly realized that everyone desires to increase their productivity but almost everyone goes through it the wrong way. Is it an expansion in business? Is it a promotion at the workplace? Do you want to improve your work ethic? Do you desire to pray more? Whatever you plan to do more in, you would definitely need a new eye in order to achieve this.

Turning the other CHEEK

Average time to read3:58 minutes aprox.

3151691419_2c5ae064cc_mHave you ever been slapped so hard that you can literarily hear the alarm bells ringing through your medulla; your eyes turned red, the side of the ears was blocked and your cheeks were contracting and literarily turning numb? Guess what our Lord Jesus Christ told us to do in this situation? I am sure you all know the answer; well, if you don't know, he told us to turn the other cheek. Jesus Christ definitely has a sense of humor.

Stop Struggling!

Average time to read4:13 minutes aprox.

aangdaabbAfter the Gold Trade Seminar on Saturday, I was a bit tired so I decided to lounge on the sofa; unfortunately or fortunately for me, my notebook was switched on since I left the house in the morning. I saw so many chats that were not replied and I saw my e-mail box was quite full. On impulse, I shut down the entire opened browser and about to shut the system when I noticed a folder on my desktop labeled; «videos»: they were some recent AVI movie files that a family friend gave me to watch. «There is no faster way to sleep than to watch a boring movie»; I told myself so I perused the files and the one that appeared boring was Oliver Stone's «W».

Friends Indeed!

Average time to read4:55 minutes aprox.

25095929_dee79c646e_mI remember my undergraduate days in Ife when you switch on the fluorescent light and species of insects start crawling up to the light tube. This is the kinds of friends that we have these days; as long as you are shining they crawl up to your majesty but when the lights are out and the heats are on, they immediately turn to roaches. Hardly do you have friends that stick to you during the night time of your life but this is when it is assumed that friends are needed.

God's Time

Average time to read5:36 minutes aprox.

2283676770_6b53f8b77f_mI wondered who coined the adage; «God's Time is the Best». This adage is completely false though a very popular adage used in time of encouragement. When you say something is «best», you are comparing it to a minimum of two other things. The use of this adage especially when someone is reaching for something and it is not coming as expected is completely limiting the Almighty God that made the heavens and the earth. First things first, this adage is not in the bible and it has no bible premise or assumption.

The SUN Comes Down

Average time to read5:23 minutes aprox.

159474809_2f44cb372c_mAs long as the earth remain, the sun would always set except in some certain countries where they have the sun all day long; this particular scenario is extremely rare. In the world that most of us live in, the sun rises and sets but we consciously reject this notion in our lives; when what we want don't happen the way we plan it; when our dreams don't come as quickly as we want; when we are confused about what to do with our lives; when our desires are not met; when the lady we love doesn't love us back (the list goes on), we lose our cool and become irrational; our heart gets broken and we move to an illogical mode.
