The Good Old DAYS

SuccessThere is nothing that hinders success more than the reminiscent of the success of yesterday – we refer to these successful times as the good old days. These good old days depicts in our minds a sort of pseudo happiness – a time when things were quite easy. The thought of these «good old days» comes to our minds when we are facing difficulties – a troubled marriage inspires the thoughts of honeymoon; a man that has not gotten ahead in business thinks of the time when he was working his white-collar job and wishes with all his heart he could find himself back at work; a jobless lady remembers vividly her undergraduate days when she was respected and revered; a guy who lacks cash flow remember the days when his bank account was reading millions.

The Need to PRAY Right

96189846_a4f8016f79_mLast week Tuesday, my dad passed away in the hospital; he lived his life for the development of others sacrificing his own personal comfort for the success of others. So when I was faced with either attending the speaking engagement for the Youth Corpers Passing Away in Delta State or just staying at home to mourn him, I chose the former to fulfill his legacy. The flight to Benin was smooth but the conversations that went through my heart took a different direction – many of us are destined to die but what we leave behind is what really counts.

The LION King

3414119966_22f72b91c4_mMy daughter is always insisting on watching cartoons; my wife insists on Africa Magic and I have no say on what to watch but grudgingly sit still to watch what they want. It's always good not to usurp your «Head of the House» power because if you take time to review what they want, you may gain far more from them than you can imagine. This was what happened when I was watching the Disney Classic – The Lion King.
