SUBSTANCE vs. SHADOW PART 3

Average time to read5:00 minutes aprox.

We live in an unreal world. Everything that is seen in this world emanates from the mental realm and since the mental realm is limited in terms of perception, the world is thoroughly «unreal». What we see in this world is the reality of someone else and every invention can be traced to the framework of a human mind. This is why the visible world is a shadow of the invisible world though the bible corroborates this latter statement in many words but common sense confirms it; your physical environment is a reflection of your thoughts – the car you drive, the nature of your work (whether excellent or sloppy), the kind of wife/husband you marry, the way you dress, the way you look, etc

After CLEMENTINA?

Average time to read2:54 minutes aprox.

Should Clemtina Saduwa die in vain? After reading the piece titled «Rising toll in Lagos killing Fields» by the Guardian Newspaper, I started wondering if the death of Clementina would cause the required change that is needed to make my dear sister smile where she is at the moment. Jesus Christ died conscientiously creating a change in the lives of millions of people all over the world. Would Clementina's death be meaningless especially to those who neglected their task to provide security to Lagos State? Despite various write-up on danger zones in Lagos, unnecessary parking of lorries and buses creating unpleasant traffic in Lagos, bad roads in Lagos, etc, the authorities have continued to be insensitive to the plight of those they are meant to govern. Olabode Adeola together with some friends of Clementina decided to write the authorities to curb the excesses of these hoodlums. (PLEASE, KINDLY APPEND YOUR NAME IN THE COMMENT BOX TO SUPPORT THIS CAUSE)

O' Death! Where is thy Sting?

Average time to read6:54 minutes aprox.

917-ClementinaPix.jpgClementina Saduwa (nee Vincent) has passed away. What a great loss to the human race? She was a vibrant lady full of energy and life. She was always endearing and approachable. I really don't know her but I know some of her exploits. In Secondary School, we were classmates competing for first position but she later became the Head Girl and I know she is a leader that would have brought positive influence to our country Nigeria. As at today, she is the President of Women in Engineering of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the Africa, Europe and Middle East and also the Product Manager with Ericsson Nigeria. She is a lady with a lot of influence and charm; a wife and mother. How did she die? How did the sting of death touch a lady with such admirable qualities?
