A lady friend of mine, who was invited for an interview from another company different from hers, asked me for resources pertaining to interviews. I referred her to the 25 Common Interview Question at the sidebar of this site. After perusing the material, she told me one very important question was missing; she asked «if you go for an interview and your present boss asks where you have been, when you were suppose to be in the office, what would your answer be?» I smiled at that very thought-through question (supposedly naïve question IMHO) and simply gave her the only solution I had.

As I re-read Pope Benedict XV1's speech addressed to an academic audience at the University of Regensburg on September 12, 2006. This speech incited Muslims to demonstrate against the Pope for calling their religion a violent one. For more on this speech click HERE. I became very convinced of the effect of perception to the degree of success we attain in this world. How we interpret circumstances is the key difference between success and failure. It is not new that everybody has a belief system that seem legitimate to their eyes, but it is rather true that it is not every belief system that is successful. The journey to true success has been a major quest to my everyday living and I hope to convince you with my less than 30 years experience in life that being right does not always translate to being successful.

In my journey through successful endeavors, I have learnt that circumventing the processes of converting your passions to competency would not pay in the long run, because those avoided processes would eventually catch-up with you. Be it Marriage, Financial Success, Parenting, Career, Committed Relationships or even Job Seeking. No wonder when people complain about woes that befall them, I fail to see the issues, no matter how empathetic I may sound, I know any which way we analyze the issue; we are (subconsciously or not) the direct cause of it.
